Here’s what some students from our pilot class based on Nick Payne’s\u00a0\u00a0Constellations<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0are saying:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

“LUNGS”<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Work together to produce a version of\u00a0Duncan MacMillan\u2019s\u00a0\u00a0Lungs,\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0then perform it live on Zoom\u00a0on August 31.\u00a0You will be cast as one of the play’s two characters for several 3-5 minute scenes, and will collaborate with multiple actors in rehearsing and performing the entire 90-minute play. Actors are required to\u00a0learn their lines, investigate their own good\/bad acting habits and fully commit to the realities of the characters for the\u00a0best possible performance for our audience.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0“TRUE WEST”<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Sam Sheppard’s\u00a0\u00a0True West\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0is one of the most admired and produced plays in the American Theater. Dive into a\u00a0full virtual production with actor and instructor Steve Kidd, who played Austin in The Gamm’s 2020 production of\u00a0\u00a0True West<\/em>\u00a0. This play has been staged with two sisters as well as two brothers, so all genders and ages are invited\u00a0to take part. Rehearsals will cultivate our collective imagination through extensive table work and beat-by-beat scene investigation,\u00a0bringing these famed characters to our own personal experience.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
