A \u201cmodern-day Lorax for modern-designed houses,\u201d George is founder and Executive Director of\u00a0USModernist<\/span><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0NCModernist<\/span>, award-winning nonprofit organizations for the documentation, preservation, and promotion of Modernist design. In 2016,\u00a0he received the AIA\u2019s Collaborative Achievement Award, one of the AIA\u2019s highest honors for a non-architect. George is producer and host of USModernist Radio, a premier architecture and design podcast.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Kofi is a University Faculty Scholar and Professor in the Department of Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning\u00a0at\u00a0NC State University, College of Design<\/a><\/span>\u00a0. His work is in the overlap between landscape architecture and environmental justice with specializations in democratic design, digital media, and interpreting cultural landscapes. Kofi serves on the Board of Directors of The Corps Network as well as the Landscape Architecture Foundation where he is President-Elect.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
