This pandemic has taken so much from us. So, Josh and I decided to change the direction of our event to help our communities begin to heal by remembering all that we&#8217;ve lost and celebrating all that we&#8217;ve gained.&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #00274e;\"><strong>ABOUT JOSH SHORT<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #00274e;\"><strong>Josh Short, Artistic Director of The Wilbury Group, adds \u201cThe very real and human impact that COVID-19 has had on our neighborhood this year is heartbreaking. As one of the neighborhoods hit hardest our friends and neighbors have seen their lives change drastically over the last 12 months. It\u2019s our hope that\u00a0<em>Capture the Block\u00a0<\/em>provides a forum for remembrance and mourning through storytelling that both helps our community in its healing, while amplifying the Humanities\u2019 Council call for the urgent need for increased civic engagement from all of us.\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><strong><u>\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b<\/u>ABOUT ANA GONZALEZ<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #00274e;\"><strong>Ana Gonz\u00e1lez is the host and producer of\u00a0<em>Mosaic on The Public\u2019s Radio<\/em>. She&#8217;s proudly Puerto Rican and Irish, and loves meeting new people almost as much as she loves meeting new dogs. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #00274e;\"><strong>Before coming to The Public&#8217;s Radio in 2019, Ana worked with the WHYY Media Labs in Philadelphia and ran her own video production company, EARF.
