Stunning decorations and original artwork, concerts, parties and our annual family day await you at the 200-year old mansion!<\/span><\/b><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

A towering Christmas tree framed by a four-story spiral staircase, elegant decorations on every mantle and in every nook and cranny, original artwork by top local artists\u2026these are just a few of the many delights that await you this Christmas season at Linden Place Mansion in downtown Bristol, Rhode Island.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

This year, the elegant d\u00e9cor throughout the 1810 mansion is complimented by original artwork by members of the Providence Art Club including\u00a0watercolors, pastels, ceramics, illustrations and prints,<\/span><\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/b>oil<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/b>paintings, and more. <\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

\n

The mansion\u2019s parlors, bedrooms, and magnificent chapel-like Gothic conservatory are magnificently transformed for your enjoyment. <\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

The mansion opens for the holiday season on Tuesday, November 26 and tours run through Sunday, January 5. Self-guided tours are available Tuesdays through Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. <\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

\n

Admission is $12, $10 for seniors and students and free for kids under 12. <\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

\n

Don\u2019t forget to visit Linden Place\u2019s Museum Shop which is stocked with wonderful hostess gifts and a broad range of Rhode Island history books as well as an extensive collection of gifts for all ages and styles.\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to mansion tours, Linden Place is hosting events of all kinds to celebrate the holidays. To kick-off the festivities, Linden Place hosts its annual\u00a0Member\u2019s Holiday Party\u00a0on Thursday, December 5th<\/sup>\u00a0from 6pm-8pm. This intimate celebration in the decorated mansion includes light fare and cash bar. <\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Free for Linden Place members and $12 for non-members. <\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Join us for unforgettable afternoons and evenings of holiday music this December!\u00a0\u00a0Michael DiMucci, a hugely popular tenor and pianist, performs fireside on Friday evening, December 6th<\/sup>\u00a0at 7:30 and on Sunday December 8th<\/sup>\u00a0at 2:00 p.m.\u00a0Tickets are $20, $15 for members. $10 Colt Circle members.\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

On Friday, December 13th<\/sup>\u00a0at 7:30pm, we host\u00a0the award-winning internationally acclaimed duo,\u00a0Atwater-Donnelly, for an evening of holiday folk songs, percussive dance, gorgeous harmonies, and audience participation.<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Lastly,\u00a0round out your holidays and begin your New Year\u2019s weekend on Saturday, December 28th<\/sup>\u00a0at 7:30pm with an intimate musical performance by RI\u2019s own folk group,\u00a0Windharp.\u00a0\u00a0Windharp is a quartet of two women and two men who sing in rich four-part harmony. \u00a0 This program celebrates the Christmas season and welcomes the New Year with music from throughout the British Isles and Celtic lands.\u00a0The music is seasonal, the voices divine, and the instruments enhance the beauty of these carols, sacred songs and joyful wassail tunes.\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Tickets for all concerts are $20, $15 for members. $10 Colt Circle members.\u00a0\u00a0Reservations should be made in advance as space is limited.<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Linden Place welcomes families to the mansion on Saturday, December 14th<\/sup>\u00a0for a free\u00a0Holiday\u00a0Family Fun Day\u00a0from 1pm to 4pm! Featuring tours of the mansion, arts & crafts, photos with Santa and a concert with the Wheeler School Handbell Ringers, this afternoon of fun is not to be missed. Bring an unwrapped toy to put underneath Linden Place\u2019s Christmas tree to be donated to Toys for Tots.<\/span><\/b><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n
