BAM Showcases Coastal Works This Winter<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Water, Water Everywhere, is on view at the Bristol Art Museum from January 10th<\/sup> through February 23rd<\/sup>, 2020. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

DORA-ATWATER-MILLIKIN<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The opening reception will be held Friday, January 10 from 6 to 8 pm. Admission is free to members, students, and children, and $5 for non-members.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The \u201cWater, Water Everywhere\u201d exhibition draws attention to our coastal environment through artwork that is either about water or has been created from water-based material. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

This exhibit reflects upon the many relationships we have with our surroundings. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Each featured work expresses the artist\u2019s emotional understanding or connection to the ocean, its force, its creatures, illusions, and its myths. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The viewer will encounter artwork created through painting, ceramic, and mixed media, with styles ranging from illustrative, to realistic, to abstract. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Bristol Art Museum is located at 10 Wardwell Street, Bristol, RI. Museum hours are Thursday through Sunday, 1 to 4 pm. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
