color: #00004e;\"><strong>Sean Sherman the founder of\u00a0The Sioux Chef, a company devoted\u00a0to\u00a0Indigenous foods, created recipes to showcase tribal diversity across the lower 48 states.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #00004e;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #00004e;\"><strong>&#8220;Growing\u00a0up on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in the 1970s, I ran wild with my cousins through my grandparents&#8217; cattle ranch, over the hot, sandy\u00a0South Dakota\u00a0land\u00a0of burrs and paddle cactus, hiding in the sparse grasses and rolling hills.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #00004e;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #00004e;\"><strong>We raced over the open plains, and through shelter belts of tall elm trees, the air full of dust and sagebrush.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #00004e;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #00004e;\"><strong>Our dogs chased prairie dogs, pheasants, grouse and antelope, and alerted us to rattlesnakes and jack rabbits.&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #00004e;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #00004e;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #00004e;\"><strong>We will use his recipes and serve crawfish and shrimp pot with spiced sweet potatoes, seared salmon with crushed blackberries and seaweed, bison pot roast with hominy and finish with chia pudding with berries and popped amaranth.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;
