If you needed help, it was there. Need it taken down, put up or moved around Joe was there. Need a set design including furniture Samantha was there. Need big concepts and ability to make it work Gary was there. Need historical curatorial skills Marian was there.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #950000;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #950000;\">After months of planning, laboring, cleaning, collecting, moving and cataloging \u201cThe Studio\u201d was ready for our first \u201cGathering\u201d at The Mill.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #950000;\">After months of research, writing and scholarship the Studio was opened with a filming of the \u201cMill House Kitchens.\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-479 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/dodgemillmuseum.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/E-MUSEUM-INTERNS-GOOD-MATM2019.2-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #00004e;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Aaron Bisson, Destiny Easler, Colin Lamusta<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #00004e;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The Docents-Interns were relentless in their efforts. Aaron became the de facto scholar, writer and researcher. Destiny became the collector, curator and source of big ideas. Colin emerged as our director, producer and film maker.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #00004e;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">They also learned The Mill. They moved stuff, built stuff, cleaned, swept and cleaned again.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #950000;\">The \u201cNew Studio\u201d is in the 1803 section of the Original Mill. The exhibits will become part of the initial inventory of historical exhibits at the Museum. Plans are in place and being developed for the next series of exhibits celebrating Dodgeville Village and its Historically Recognized Mill. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #950000;\">An early Spring 2020 is targeted for that opening.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-480 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/dodgemillmuseum.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/E-MUSEUM-DSC05984-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #00004e;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Place settings in The 1850\u2019s Kitchen<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #950000;\">The \u201cMill House Kitchen\u201d exhibit features an 1850\u2019s Kitchen, a 1900\u2019s Kitchen and a 1950\u2019s Kitchen. Docents will share their knowledge of the artifacts, antiques and history in each exhibit. Interpreters will share \u201ctheir\u201d kitchens with dramatic presentations.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #950000;\">The Exhibit is open to Members and Guests at Gatherings at The Mill.
