Restaurants and food trucks from across the state will offer their take on the traditional Qu\u00e9becois dish of French fries smothered in gravy and cheese curds.\u00a0This year&#8217;s event will feature two-time champion,\u00a0Adelines: A Speakeasy Kitchen Bar, as well as past champions,\u00a0Friskie Fries\u00a0and\u00a0Ciro&#8217;s Tavern, and past competitor\u00a0Bywater, along with new participant\u00a0Rhody Roots.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #950000;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Additional entertainment will include performances and called dances by four piece Franco-American band\u00a0Fleur de Lis, who will offer concerts at 1:30pm and 3pm.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #950000;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">There will also be presentations on the history and cultural significance of poutine. In addition, the event will include pastries provided by\u00a0Wright\u2019s Dairy Farm &amp; Bakery.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #950000;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The day will conclude with the MoWCs annual raffle, with a grand prize of a trip for two to Qu\u00e9bec City donated by Conway Tours.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #950000;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Tickets remain for Salute to Spring\/Bonjour Printemps: Admission is $20 for adults and $10 for children; children under 3 are free. In Providence, the RIHS owns and operates the John Brown House Museum, a designated National Historic Landmark, built in 1788; the Aldrich House, built in 1822 and used for administration and public programs; and the Mary Elizabeth Robinson Research Center, where archival, book, and image collections are housed.
