New Bedford Creative\u2019s\u00a0Wicked Cool Places<\/a><\/span>\u00a0is sponsoring our 2020 Members\u2019 Exhibition. The WCP sponsorship has made it possible for us to\u00a0waive your entry fees!\u00a0Due to the COVID-19 crisis, the exhibition will be virtual and therefore we have also\u00a0lifted the \u201csmall works\u201d restriction.\u00a0 Member artists working in any medium and scale can submit up to three works for free.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

New Bedford Art Museum\/ArtWorks! (NBAM) is seeking artists to have their artwork showcased in the juried\u00a0Annual Members Exhibit.<\/em>\u00a0NBAM will award\u00a0three cash prizes\u00a0to the top three artworks selected by the Juror.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

ELIGIBILITY\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Artists must be active NBAM Members.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Each artist may submit up to three pieces for consideration.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Members Submission Deadline:\u00a0Friday, May 22, 2020, at 5 PM\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Painting, drawing, mixed media, sculpture, photography, ceramics, fiber, metals, glass, wood, installation, printmaking, performance and video.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

NBAM will offer three cash prizes to the top three artworks selected by the Juror:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Best in Show: $100<\/strong><\/span>

\nHonorable Mention: $50\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

DINA\u00a0DEITSCH
\nDIRECTOR AND CHIEF CURATOR OF TUFTS UNIVERSITY ART GALLERIES<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

As Director and Chief Curator of the Tufts University Art Galleries, Dina oversees the temporary exhibitions and public programs at the Aidekman Arts Center on the Medford campus and at the SMFA at Tufts Boston campus in addition to the university\u2019s Permanent Art Collection.\u00a0 She also organizes contemporary art exhibitions and chairs the University\u2019s Gifts of Art and Public Art Committees. Before Tufts, Dina was the Interim Director Carpenter Center for the Visual Arts, Harvard University. She was the Director of Curatorial Projects at Goodman Taft, and the Curator of Contemporary Art at the DeCordova Sculpture Park and Museum.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

There is no registration form \u2013 please send your images and information via email.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Submissions received after\u00a0Friday, May 22, 2020, at 5 PM\u00a0will not be considered.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Images should be in JPG format and be between 72-100 dpi. Each file should be named as follows: Last name, first initial, number 1-3, and abbreviated title.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Video submissions: please send a link to your video.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
