During the event, celebrity costume designer and PVDFest alum, Machine Dazzle, will lead participants in a hands-on workshop using materials you can find around your home.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #00004e;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">On Friday, June 12, FirstWorks presents another free virtual event.\u00a0Kicking off at 7 PM, multimedia artist Carlos Andres Toro and composer\/violinist Daniel Bernard Roumain will premiere\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ce0000;\"><a style=\"color: #ce0000;\" href=\"https:\/\/click.icptrack.com\/icp\/relay.php?r=28241325&amp;msgid=516589&amp;act=D0Y9&amp;c=184633&amp;destination=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fevents%2F972526423204923%2F&amp;cf=9009&amp;v=d96e5fa925ed6d01bea5546699e1adb1b99caac56fcf45694f2683c2f5f583c0\">\u201cRequiem for the Living, In Color.\u201d<\/a><\/span>\u00a0This timely collaborative performance unpacks and explores the realities of people of color during these unprecedented times.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #00004e;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Also on June 12, Cratftland will again bring artists and the community together\u2014but this time virtually.\u00a0For the last three years, Craftland has curated and organized the Artist Marketplace during PVDFest weekend.\u00a0This year, the Marketplace will be hosted on\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ce0000;\"><a style=\"color: #ce0000;\" href=\"https:\/\/click.icptrack.com\/icp\/relay.php?r=28241325&amp;msgid=516589&amp;act=D0Y9&amp;c=184633&amp;destination=https%3A%2F%2Fshop.craftlandshop.com%2F&amp;cf=9009&amp;v=2839761e89a5cdadac560d265bcd6f12d865b8df83b932c7ba12ed2b9bdb29b9\">Craftland\u2019s website<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>featuring a small collection of pieces from independent artists from June 12th through 19th.
