CALL FOR ARTISTS

Mid-Cape Home Centers is seeking local artists to submit their depiction of the company’s 125-year history for a mural that will go outside its Orleans location.

 

Calling all artists! You could win between $1,500 and $2,500 and have your artwork on the wall of Mid-Cape Home Centers’ Orleans location. 

 

Celebrating its 125th anniversary, Mid-Cape Home Centers is looking for a local artist to create a mural on a 10×72 foot wall at its Orleand facility which faces both the Cape Cod Rail Trail and Orleans Main Street. The mural should depict Mid-Cape’s proud history on Cape Cod .

 

Artists should submit a full color draft, using their preferred medium, to frice@midcape.net with Mid-Cape Mural in the subject line. The deadline to send a submission is Friday, August 28. 

 

Only residents in Southeastern Massachusetts are eligible to apply. 

The winning mural must be approved by the Town of Orleans. The winner will be chosen on Tuesday, September 8.
