“Pop-Up “Hauntings of Linden Place” Tour & Exhibit
Discover the dark side of Linden Place’s history….if you dare.
There’s a tell-tale chill in the air, and the spirits have once again descended upon Linden Place. Take a tour of the 200-year-old mansion’s rooms by candlelight and learn about rumored hauntings of Colt Farm and Colt Memorial School, about vampires roaming the towns of Rhode Island in the 1800s, and mediums summoning the return of the lost.
Discover the traditional mourning practices of Victorian families by examining jewelry, dress, and photographs, and see if the ghosts become visible to you through the observation of nineteenth century pseudoscience. The mansion and its many haunts are waiting for you!
This special exhibit will be available in the mansion from October 29th to November 15th. During the week, Tuesday to Friday, you can access the displays during our normal operating hours of 10 am to 5 pm. If you would like a more chilling experience, the museum will be opened extended hours every Friday and Saturday until 7 pm.
Admission is $12, $10 for seniors and students. Free for Linden Place Members. The tour is recommended for visitors ages 14 and up.
Due to COVID restrictions, this event will be a self-guided tour rather than a guided tour as it has been in previous years. Reservations are required in advance by calling the Linden Place office at 401-253-0390, visiting
