GALLERY AT FOUR OFFERS HOLIDAY VIRTUALLY AND IN 3D
Tiverton Four Corners’ GALLERY at FOUR once again offers its latest exhibition, FAVORITE THINGS in 3D virtual form. Through state-of-the art interactive three dimensional photography, this virtual tour makes it possible to view the entire exhibition with over 50 works including paintings, photography, sculpture and assemblage from the studios of some of the gallery’s favorite artists including Gretchen Dow Simpson, Anthony Russo, Walter Horak, Anthony Tomaselli, Tom Martinelli, Liz Fiedorek, John Sideli, Susan Freda Gay Gillies, Rich Perry and Gregory Kammerer.
Beginning in June, GALLERY at FOUR was the first Rhode Island gallery to employ such technology and owner/curator Chas. Hickey says “the Covid-19 pandemic continues to present unique and unprecedented challenges for us all, and though the gallery is open and observing all safety protocol, this 3D tour offers the perfect opportunity for those unable to visit in person, and art enthusiasts from outside the area to experience the work of these exceptional artists.”
Matterport 3D Technology welcomes users for a self directed tour allowing one to pause at artwork, click points for closeups and details or to learn more about each artist.
A link to the tour can be found on the Home page of the gallery’s website,
and at the GALLERY at FOUR Facebook page. FAVORITE THINGS continues through January 10th.
The gallery is open by appointment on Mondays and from 11-4 Tuesday thru Saturday, Sunday 12-4
