The Bristol Art Museum Introduces Video Tours and Virtual Galleries

In the wake of closures due to COVID-19, The Bristol Art Museum is changing gears and going digital to remain accessible to audiences.

 

Among the many changes underway is their online Social Distancing Gallery, a contact-free gallery experience where artists of all levels can share and appreciate art.

 

The public is invited to take this “opportunity to connect virtually with art lovers like you and share your stay-at-home experience, exercise creativity, and appreciate the beauty all around you.”

 

All you need is an internet connection and a cell phone camera to enter a photo to be featured in their online gallery as well as on social media.

Virtual visitors can find this Gallery and entry form at BristolArtMuseum.org/stayhome and are encouraged to follow the Museum on Facebook and Instagram @BristolArtMuseum for updates.

 

Recent closures won’t stop you from seeing their current exhibit either, with new video tours and plans for an app based virtual tour coming together quickly.
